Day 1: Arrival in Houeisay (D)

Arrival in Houeisay, meeting with our guide and you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Welcome dinner then stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Houeisay – Pakbeng (B,L,D)

After breakfast, embark to our boat and cruise to Pakbeng. Stopover on road, visit an ethnic village and meet the local people. Buffet lunch on boat before the cruise continues in the afternoon. Arrive in a resort for overnight. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3: Pakbeng – Kamu village (B,L,D)

After breakfast, the cruise continues to Kamu village. Disembark to visit a village of rice alcohol. Lunch on board. Afternoon, you will trek in the heart of the jungle until a cascade (2h30) or assist to local activities as rice planting and harvesting in the rice field. Overnight in Kamu.

Day 4: Kamu – Pakou – Luang Prabang (B,L,D)

This morning, you’ll visit the Kamu village before embarking on the boat and cruising towards Pak Ou Pakou. During the cruise, you’ll visit Tam Ting cave with thousand Buddha’s. The cruise ends at Luang Prabang, world heritage site. Lunch at local restaurant. We drive to Elephant Park Project area and have 1 hour of elephant riding while exploring an amazing nature. After that you will climb up to Phu Si Mountain for sunset. The day trip ends by visiting the night market. Dinner and stay overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Vang Vieng (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we drive on the national road no. 13 to destination of Vang Vieng. Stopover at Phon Khoune, then visit Kasi city.

We arrive in Vang Vieng at the end of afternoon. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

Day 6: Vang Vieng – Vientiane (B,L,D)

After breakfast, drive to Tham Jang cave, used as a bunker in defense in colonial French period and pirates Ho period (200 years before). We drive to Vientiane via Ban Namone, fishing village (Ban HoueiMo), then visit of a M’Hong village and a little sanctuary Mon-Khmer in Vang Xiang. Arrive in Vientiane in the afternoon. Dinner and stay overnight in Vientiane.

Day 7: All day city in Vientiane (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel, all day tour help you discovering the major temples including the oldest Wat Sisaket, a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues; the Haw Pha Kaew, ancient royal temple; the Vat Simuang, the most famous monastery in Laos and the sacred structure of That Luang temple. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 8: Vientiane – Pakse flight – Khong island (B,L,D)

After breakfast, take a flight from Vientiane to Pakse. Transfer directly to Champassak. Visit of the pre-angkorian site build between 9th and 13th centuries and historic heritage museum of Champassak. Continue of route and board a traditional long tail boat to reach Khong Island. Overnight in Khong Island.

Day 9: Khong island (B,L,D)

Breakfast, today, we enjoy a cruise venturing into the widest reach of the Mekong River from where thousands of islets just out in dry season, giving this area a lovely name” Si Phan Done”. Along the way, we stop at the Liphi waterfalls and the fisherman village of Ban Done Khone. Overnight in Khong Island.

Day 10: Khong island – Dongkalor – Lao/Cambodia border (B,L,D)

Breakfast; upon leaving Khong 4000 islands, we transfer to Lao/Cambodia border at Dongkalor. After immigration formalities, you will meet your local guide then en route to Stung Streng and Kratie. Overnight in Kratie.

Day 11: City tour in Kratie (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you visit this little town by cruising on Mekong River; you have a chance to see Mekong Dolphin (Irrawadi). Overnight in Kratie.

Day 12: Kratie – Kampong Cham – Kampong Thom (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we drive to Kampng Cham and visit the Vat Knokor temple and a rubber plantation. Continue to Angkor Thom with a stopover at Skun village. You have an occasion to taste fried insects, a specialty of the village. Overnight in Kampong Thom.

Day 13: Kampong Thom – Siem Reap (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel then departure to Sambor Prei Kuk, a pre-angkorian site; build in 7th century in the ancient capital of Chenla kingdom, now lost in the wild jungle. After lunch at local restaurant, we leave Kampong Thom to reach Siem Reap passing by Cambodian countryside. On the road, we visit Naga Bridge, 40kms from Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 14: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat, World Heritage Site since 1992.

Afternoon, visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 15: Kulen – Beng Mealea (B,L,D)

Morning, we drive up to Kulen then trek through the forest to reach the top of the mountain where is the thousand Linga temple. Picnic lunch then continue to trek toward Beng Mealea temple, build in 11th century and situated in the jungle. Return to Siem Reap at the end of the day. Dinner and stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 16: Siem Reap – Battambang (B,L,D)

Morning, we cruise in Tonle Sap and visit the floating village, then continue toward Battambang city. Upon arrival, we discover some angkorian and post angkorian temples: the Wat Ek, Wat Toul Bassae and Phnom Sampov… Overnight in Battambang.

Day 17: Battambang – Phnom Penh (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we leave Battambang then transfer to Phnom Penh. Stopover at Pursat town and visit its floating village Kompong Luang. Arrive lately in Phnompenh. Dinner and stay overnight in Phnompenh.

Day 18: Phnompenh – Phnom Chissor (B,L,D)

Departure to Takeo, then we board and cruise toward Phnom Da. You discover a pre-angkorian temple. After the visit, we cruise back to Takeo. Return to Phnompenh, on the road, we visit some khmer temples: Phnom Chissor, Prasat Neang Khmao and 2 angkorian temples of Tonle Bati. Overnight in Phnompenh.
