Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (D)

Welcome to Vietnam, arrival at Hanoi airport, after immigration and customs formalities, you’ll be met by your personal guide and driver, then transfer into the city. On arrival, check-in to the hotel. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B,L,D)

After breakfast, walking beside West lake and visit of Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Visit a complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade mountain Temple), But Tower (Pen – shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red – painted wooden The Huc Bridge…. A cyclo (rickshaw) trip around 36 streets of Ha Noi ancient town gives you a chance to explore the different local way of life. Enjoy the Water Puppet Show in the evening. Welcome dinner in one of the famous gastronomic restaurant in Hanoi. Stay overnight at your hôtel.

Day 3: Hanoi city tour – Lao Cai with night train (B,L,D)

To continue the visit in the morning: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, President Palace, One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch at local restaurant, you visit the literature temple, called 1st university of Vietnam. Enjoy 1h30 of Spa in a luxury spa center of Hanoi. After dinner, you will be transferred to train station for overnight train to Lao Cai. Stay overnight on train (departure 09.50 pm-arrivals at 6am next day).

Day 4: Lao Cai-Bac Ha – Sa Pa (B,L,D) / 90km 3hrs

We arrive in Lao Cai early morning. After breakfast at a local restaurant, transfer to Bac Ha, visit Bac Ha market (Open every Sunday morning) where do business of many tribes as H’mong, Tay, Dzao… We arrive on time to enjoy the most colorful ethnic market in Northern Vietnam. This weekly outdoor gathering isn’t just a chance to buy and sell goods; it’s also the social highlight of the week for ethnic groups from all over the area. After the market, have lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, walk around the village, admire the daily life of the local population. Afternoon, departure to the old French hill station of Sa Pa then have dinner and stay overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 5: Sa Pa (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel, we go to Lao Chai village (08kms from Sa pa), which is inhabited by the Black Hmong hill tribe. We trek lightly (2 hours) through terraced rice fields, follow the buffalo paths… in the village from Lao Chai to Ta Van, the only village in the Sa Pa valley where the Giay lives. Continue to walk until Giang Ta Chai village, chance to meet local people and discover their daily life. Overnight in your hotel in Sa Pa.

Day 6: Sa Pa – Lao Cai – Hanoi overnight train (B,L,D) / 30km 1hour

After breakfast, we go to discover Ta Phin village where live the Kinh, Red Dzao and Black Hm’ong, passing by green terraced rice paddy; unique picturesque scenery. After an exciting day of sightseeing, refresh your soul and body with a local herb bath and pedicure treatment at your hotel before your return to Lao Cai Station for overnight train, back to Hanoi. Overnight on board (departure: 08.40pm – arrival: 5.00am).

Day 7: Hanoi-Ha Long (B,L,D) / 180km 4hrs

We arrive in Hanoi early morning. After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be driven about 4hrs to famous and magnificent Ha Long Bay. Here you’ll board a charming Junk where you’ll have lunch as you set sail for Titop Island. Spend the afternoon sailing through the 3,000 limestone pinnacles piercing the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most incredible natural wonders and was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit one of the finest and widest grottoes of Ha Long: “Surprise grotto”. Afternoon, free at own leisure for spa & massage or kayaking. You’ll anchor at Titop this evening before an on-deck candlelight dinner featuring gourmet cuisine. Stay overnight on a Junk.

Note: The cabins on board are luxurious, comfortable, clean, air-conditioned, and outfitted with their own and hot shower. This is a join-in cruise (possibility to book a private junk).

Day 8: Ha Long- Hanoi-Hue by flight (B,L,D)

You will begin this morning with a sunrise breakfast before your exploration of Luon Cave (Tunnel cave) by a rustic rowing boat. Then continue to visit another part of Bay (Bai Tu Long Bay). Lunch on board. You will disembark the Junk then return to Hanoi in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport, fly to Hue. On arrival, welcome by our local guide, transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 9: Ha Long- Hanoi-Hue by flight (B,L,D)

In the morning, you will take a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Then visit the elaborate tombs of Emperor Tu Duc & Khai Dinh. Afternoon, visit the majestic Imperial Citadel of Hue and finish the day with a visit to Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 10:Hue-Hoi An (B,L,D)/ 200km 4hrs)

This morning, we drive up to Hoi An via scenic Hai Van Pass, where we enjoy the spectacular panorama of the central coastline from the summit. Stop at Lang Co to stretch your legs and enjoy the white sands of this peaceful beach. Arrival at the ancient town of Hoi An. Afternoon, explore the old port town’s narrow cobblestone streets and visit historic sites including a traditional Chinese trading house, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Stay overnight in a private villa in Hoi An.

Day 11:Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (B,L,D) / 40kms 40ms)

This morning, we drive to My Son sanctuary and visit this set of ruins from the ancient Cham Empire, build between 4th and 14th centuries AD. Return to Hoi An by boat cruise on Thu Bon River. Free at own leisure in the afternoon for a traditional Vietnamese massage (90ms), this technique combines massage and pressure point work to balance the flow of “chi” for the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An free time (B)

Free at own leisure, enjoy one Ancient Balinese Massage (60 ms) includes Balinese palming, stretching, effleurage and pressure point techniques to relieve tension, improve blood flow, ease stress and calm the mind. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 13: Hoi An-Da Nang-Saigon (B,L,D)

Morning, you’ll be transferred to Da Nang airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Sai Gon, you’ll be driven hotel. After lunch, you will immediately begin your exploration of Sai Gon, the economic powerhouse of Vietnam. You will visit the Reunification Hall and the former US Embassy. Historically, both buildings symbolize the deep scars of this war-torn country. You also have the chance to see the War Remnant Museum; the Notre Dame Cathedral and general post designed Gustave Eiffel. Walk at free leisure amongst Dong Khoi Street for shopping. Have dinner in a gastronomic restaurant and stay overnight in Sai Gon.

Day 14: Saigon – Con Dao (B,L,D)

Morning, you’ll be transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight to Con Dao. Upon arrival in Con Dao, an untouched beach, you’ll be driven into town to hotel. Con Dao is largely mountainous and covered in forest, with ample opportunity for hiking through the jungle and looking for wildlife. The island is also home to a coastline of steep, rocky hills and long sweeping coves, boasting some excellent spots for swimming and snorkeling. Stay overnight in a private villa on the island with your inclusive pool.

Day 15+16+17+18+19: Con Dao (B)

Free at own leisure at hotel. Two coupons of massage & spa per person will be at your disposal. You will enjoy with departure at 5pm a unique experience by speedboat from Con Son Marina (3 hours). We will cruise round to the western side of the island passing between Con Son and Hon Ba, witnessing the beauty of Lovers Cove before stopping on the far side of Hon Ba (Grandmother Island). Here you’ll witness the sun slowly setting and an overwhelming display of colors in the horizon. Stay overnight in Con Dao.
