Wildlife and rich nature in the South of Vietnam.

Day 1: Arrival in Saigon (D)

Upon arrival in Sai Gon, welcome by our guide and driver, then you’ll be driven to the hotel. Walking for having an overlook about Saigon, now named Hochiminh city. Welcome dinner and overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon city tour (B,L,D)

After breakfast at hotel, you will begin your exploration of Sai Gon, the economic powerhouse of Vietnam. You will visit the Reunification Hall and the former US Embassy. Historically, both buildings symbolize the deep scars of this war-torn country. You also have the chance to see the War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post office was reportedly designed by Gustave Eiffel. Walk amongst the frenzied merchants and buyers of Cho Lon market and visit Thien Hau Pagoda. Cruise dinner and overnight in Sai Gon.

Day 3: Saigon – Nha Trang flight (B,L,D)

Transfer to the airport, flight to Nha Trang, a famous beach station of Vietnam. Upon arrival, welcome by local guide, check-in to hotel.

Afternoon, you will visit some main sites of the city: Oceanographic Institute, Long Son pagoda and Ponagar Cham tower.

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 4: Nha Trang (B,L,D)

In the morning, you will have a boat trip to Hon Tam for fishing or snorkeling at coral reef. Enjoy fresh see fruits on board.

Swim and relax on the beach. Afternoon, on the way back, you will discover the fishing village to view shrimp, grouper and crab raised in floating cages. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 5: Nha Trang – Buon Ma Thuot – Buon Don (B,L,D)

Drive up to Buon Don, famous village of elephant in the central highland of Vietnam. Stopover in Buon Ma Thuot for lunch and a sort visit of ethnography museum, then continue to Buon Don. Come to explore the legend of traditional wild elephant catching and taming of the M’nong ethnic group then you will visit the Ancient wooden house- on- stilts with its Laotian architecture. Overnight in a traditional bungalow in Buon Don.

Day 6: Buon Don – Buon Ma Thuot (B,L,D)

Morning, you’ll visit the tomb of the King of elephant catchers before taking a walk on the suspension bamboo bridge and riding an elephant (1 hour).

Drive back to Buon Ma Thuot, many stopovers to enjoy some impressive waterfalls: Dray Sap and Dray Nu. On arrival to Buon Ma Thuot, visit a local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Buon Me Thuot – Da Lat (B,L,D)

Road to Da Lat by passing by a stunning countryside. Stopover at Lak Lake, explore the lake by a dug-out canoe trip and then visit Jun village of M’nong ethnic minority. Continue to Da Lat.

On arrival, a horse trip permits you to have an overlook of this nice town: visit the botanic garden, Xuan Huong artificial lake… Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 8: Da Lat (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel, all day city tour of Da Lat: Thien Vien Truc Lam monastery, flower market, the valley of Love, a factory of strawberry jam.

Afternoon, you have a ride by a Land Rover up to the top of Lang Biang Mountain, with spectacular views of Dalat and the surrounding mountains and valleys. Visit some minority villages under the mountain foot.

Stay overnight in Da Lat.

Day 9: Da Lat – Nam Cat Tien (B,L,D)

Drive down to Nam Cat Tien National park where can bring you a wildlife experience. In the afternoon we start walking 8km along the ecologic route. Then we transfer back to the center for having dinner. At night, our Jeep will transfer us to Ta Lai buffer zone for animal spotting (view animals at night).

Stay overnight in a bungalow in the park.

Day 10: Nam Cat Tien – Saigon (B,L,D)

Morning, we walk for 2 hours through the jungle to a bird watch tower that gives a great view of the surrounding area. Time permitting, another trek to Heaven’s Rapids can be arranged.

Afternoon, we go back to Saigon by car. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 11: Saigon-Vinh Long – Cai Be (B,L,D)

Morning, we drive to Vinh Long. On arrival, take a boat trip crossing the Mekong River and through the small canals to see the real daily life of the local people. Stop at a bonsai and fruit garden for lunch. Afternoon, we bicycle around the village, visit local cottages making rice paper, pop-corn. Overnight at home stay in Cai Be.

Day 12: Cai Be – Saigon (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the hotel, we visit then the famous Cai Be Floating Market where the waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants, foods, etc… Drive back to Sai Gon. Overnight in Sai Gon.
