Formalities for Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia & Laos

A valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the return date).

Identity photos are necessary to enter the temples of Angkor in Cambodia.

No vaccination is compulsory. Anti-malarial treatment is recommended. It is advised to not drink tap water and not to eat peeled fruit.

We advise you to travel with some American dollars or Euros. Major credit cards as well as traveller’s cheques are accepted in the big cities.

Since 2015 in Myanmar, there are ATMs to withdraw local currency with VISA and MASTER CARD. And it is possible to pay by card some hotels, but it is still rare.

English and French are spoken in the big cities.

VISAS

It is necessary to obtain a visa for each country.

MOTAÏBA will assist you in obtaining a visa for Myanmar or Vietnam, which you must collect on arrival at Yangoon (Ex-Burma) or at Danang International airport, at Noibai airport (Hanoï) or at Tan Son Nhat airport (HCMC).

Visas must be obtained by the customer on arrival in Laos or Cambodia if arriving by air. MOTAÏBA will assist you in the event that you arrive by land in order to make procedures easier.
